Clinical Care Options to be The Official Provider of Online Scientific Analysis of The 7th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogensis, Treatment and Prevention

Clinical Care Options (CCO), the leader in the development of innovative online, print, and live HIV medical education for healthcare professionals, is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the International AIDS Society (IAS) at the 7th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2013).

IAS 2013 will be the seventh consecutive year that CCO will publish official online scientific analysis of the annual IAS conferences. The CME-certified online coverage will include Capsule Summaries of the most clinically relevant studies, selected by CCO’s expert faculty; audio podcasts in which leading clinicians and researchers review highlights of the meeting; CCO’s downloadable slidesets summarizing the key data; and analysis of the clinical implications of the major studies from panels of international experts.

“The IAS conference is the world’s largest scientific meeting on HIV and AIDS, and it is a tremendous opportunity for scientists, clinicians, implementers, public health experts, and community leaders to discuss the latest scientific developments and to explore how such scientific advances can be applied in implementation programmes,” said Bertrand Audoin, Executive Director of the IAS. “IAS 2013 is the first IAS conference hosted in Asia, a region that faces significant challenges in terms of its HIV epidemic, but most importantly, presents important successes. By bringing the conference to the region, delegates from all over the world can learn from the work of our Asian colleagues. We are glad that, once again, CCO will make available online for a wider public its scientific conference coverage and analysis of the studies presented at the conference.”

“We are honored to be selected for the seventh year in a row to deliver essential new information and educational resources from this esteemed international scientific meeting to healthcare providers for HIV patients worldwide,” said Edward King, CCO’s Senior Vice President, Editorial.

The 7th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention will be held June 30 - July 3, 2013, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
