Community Matters!

We are passionate about making a difference. Here are some of the diverse community causes we support.

Natural Disasters

At our 2019 All-Hands Meeting, we assembled 350 comfort kits for the American Red Cross. The kits included hygiene products and handwritten notes to families experiencing a natural disaster.

Hunger

We held a Sandwich-A-Thon in our office where employees teamed up to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In just 1 power hour, we assembled 940 sandwiches and 140 bags of trail mix for families living in vulnerable neighborhoods in Washington, DC.

Youth & Education

In addition to backpacks and school supplies, we have donated food to programs that support schools and care kits to a summer camp offered to children infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Homelessness

Our employees assembled care kits and gift packages for local families suffering from homelessness. Donations have included personal hygiene and cleaning supplies, holiday gifts, umbrellas, reusable tote bags, movie tickets, and food.

Collection Drives

We hold collection drives in the office and encourage our remote employees to donate locally. This not only helps our neighbors but also diverts hundreds of pounds of usable goods from taking up space in landfills.

Employee Engagement

We are dedicated to giving our employees time to give back to causes they care about. In addition to the CCOcares Day of Service, we create several opportunities for employees to get involved in the office or to participate from afar.

Wellness

We not only foster collaboration within the team but also encourage that our people take time to care for their bodies and minds. Our most recent initiative involved our team members being active towards raising money for the Mya Lin Terry Foundation by walking, running, biking, dancing, and exercising. In 2 weeks, the team accumulated over 2 thousand miles

Healthcare and Medical Research

Aligned with our mission as a company, we also support different institutions whose goals are to improve care for patients and develop research for different medical conditions
