In this call between colleagues, hear expert faculty discuss what they learned during the COVID-19 pandemic about the detrimental effects of medical mistrust on patient care/wellness and the paradigm shifts needed to overcome both mistrust and disparities in healthcare outcomes across different groups, including racial/ethnic minorities and other groups who are generally underrepresented in medical research. You will also learn the latest information on the interplay between HIV infection and COVID-19 risk.
